The HIRIDJEE Loan – Ideal for females pursuing higher education

The HIRIDJEE loan for 2012 is now available to all female students only, up to a maximum of GBP 10,000 per student per year for three consecutive years. The choice of course is also open, and is not restricted to any profession. This loan is open to all females wishing to pursue higher education (Undergraduate, Masters & PhD).
Shia Toolkit Android App - Version 3

With the sacred month of Rajab approaching near, Shia Toolkit developer, Muhammed Raza Merchant, has released a new version of the Android App - Version 3. The new version introduces the Amaal-e-Rajab and covers daily supplications, salat and prayers from the eve of Mah-e-Rajab till the last day with Arabic, translation, decription, transliteration and audio.
Al-Mawaddat Centre Ladies Section Celebrate Mother's Day

The Wiladat of Sayyida Fatima Zahra ('a) is also celebrated as a true Mother's day as the Holy Lady ('a) is the most wonderful role model for all the mothers in the world. The ladies section took this opprtunity to wish Saida aunty, the co-convenor of Al-Mawaddat Centre a "Happy Mother' Day", presenting her with a token of appreciation as a mother of the Al-Mawaddat Centre community.
Freedom Can Wait
Many of us cannot wait to have our degrees in our hands so that we can embark on our journey to 'freedom' where we aren’t tied to classroom timings, assignments deadlines, tests and examinations, etc. In the process, we over look that with such 'freedom', comes the element of greater responsibilities towards individuals who brought us this far. Here is a story about a final year student sharing her thoughts and her future plans.
