Safar-e-A'zam - A Tribute to the Martyrs and Captives of Karbala - A Picture Special
Coinciding with the commemoration of Arbaeen 1431, the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Students at Malaysia (KSISAM)
presented Safar-e-A'zam - A Tribute to the Martyrs and Captives of Karbala.
What is it?
It's the reconstruction of one of the most significant journeys that changed the course of Islamic History - The Journey
by Imam Hussein (A.S) from Medina to Karbala in the year 60AH/61AH, and the Imam (A.S)'s Ahlul bayt taken captive
from Karbala to Kufa to Shaam, and their return to Medina via Karbala.
A group of The Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Students at Malaysia (KSISAM) spent their time, energy and resources to
build a miniature model depicting the said journey at Almawaddat Centre Kuala Lumpur, and presented it on
Saturday, 6th February 2010 after the Arbaeen Day Majlis.
